hey Christian, sorry I haven't replied I have been a bit preoccupied! Working 6 days a week at the moment 9 to 5 , I don't even have time to compose properly which is a shame. I want to build up a demo page like you have.

I listened to firstkill first, I liked your use of percussion in it, what is the wind effect near the end?

I also listened to the Epic one, very hans zimmer and gladiatoresque! Not sure about the marraca type sample in it (if its a real marraca I apologise)

I have listened to the jumper music I don't mind it but its not my favourite of yours, sounds quite jonathan creeky if you've heard that. The piano in it sounds great, what piano is it?

Your GearWorx logo music sounds very real, well done! probably my favourite.

snugs sounds like it would suit a tim burton film!

What do you use to sequence your compositions? I've been using Logic but the environment windows are confusing for me. I use Sibelius to compose but its playback is far too quantised.

Also, what sample packs do you use? Particularly the Piano in the jumper, the strings in the gearworx one and the clarinet in the ufo one.


I think its great to find some composers who aren't so competetive and share their ideas, most composers are so selfish!

Hopefully I will have some time to compose, I need to plan my compositions. Most of the ones I am doing now are spontaneous ones when I arrive back from work but they never get finished because there is no plan!
